Believe in yourselves. Dream. Try. Do Good.
If that phrase ignites a series of totally extreme feelings in the deepest part of your soul, chances are, you are a massive Boy Meets World fan. The series is a staple of growing up for many pop culture fans. We tuned in to see what Shawn, Cory, Eric, Topanga, and Mr. Feeny had in store for us, and ended up learning a lot about ourselves in the process.
Every episode of Boy Meets World had a lesson woven into the fabric of the series. Sometimes, those lessons hit you in the face and other times, you realized it long after you’d turned your television off.
So when the cast reunited this weekend at Wizard World, well, it was a big deal. Danielle Fishel said, in an Instagram post, that it was the first time the cast had been together like this. Never having attended conventions or get togethers while the series was on television.
If their prom pose wasn’t cute enough, they posed for a number of photos over the course of the weekend. One which was a major call back to a photo from years ago. Again, Danielle shared the moment on Instagram.
Seriously, we can’t get enough.
In addition to posing for photos together, and with fans, they invited the audience to join them for a reunion panel. If you’ve never been to a Wizard World panel, well, let’s just say they’re some of the best. Fans were given the floor in opportunities to ask questions to the stars of the show. Everything from behind the scenes secrets to favorite show moments were up for discussion. With a lot of laughs and some heartfelt moments, Danielle Fisher, Ben Savage, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong kept fans in a state of happy nostalgia for the duration of the weekend.
Danielle teased that the cast would love to do this more often, and if there’s any convention that can make it happen, it’s Wizard World. So don’t forget to check out their website and find dates and locations close to you. There are new additions to their line ups often, and you can also keep up with them via Instagram and Twitter.
Oh, and always remember: ‘You don’t have to be blood to be family.‘
