Rising Swedish star INTI is back with his third single as the Young Royals continues his rise as the country’s next exciting export.
As last weekend’s Eurovision result goes to prove, with Loreen romping to victory with mega-hit ‘Tattoo’, Sweden knows how to produce great pop music and the country along with its producers have long been sought out by some of the biggest names.
One of the latest success stories coming from the country is that of INTI, perhaps better known as Inti Sobrado, the actor behind character Ayub in Young Royals.
The producer and songwriter debuted with much-loved single ‘FAN VAD JAG ALSKAR DIG’ last year, which has already racked up over 240,000 streams on Spotify alone, and followed the track up with more catchy flicks.
Earlier this year INTI dropped ‘TROR ATT JAG DOR FOR DIG’, or ‘Think I’m Dying For You’ in English, and that track has also gone on to pull in hundreds of thousands of streams.
The latest release from the rising star is ‘IDIOT’, which dropped on streaming platforms on Friday, May 19.
Another taste of what is fast becoming a trademark sound for INTI, ‘IDIOT’ sees the star pen an emotive apology to a lover as he urges them to embrace him for all his flaws.
The Swede’s releases to date are surefire hits for fans of Post Malone, The Kid LAROI, 24kGoldn, but INTI refuses to stay in a box with his fresh take on hip hop meets pop.
When not churning out the hits, Sobrado is best known for his work on Netflix hit Young Royals.
The actor’s character Ayub plays the hometown best friend of main character Simon and is always on hand to provide much-needed advice through the protagonist’s struggles.
Season 3 of Young Royals is set to be released this year.
