“Dre has Beats. Jay has Tidal. Kanye has himself. And now, the world has SnoopaVision.”
Have you ever wanted to watch a video with Snoop Dogg, or see things how he does? Well, now you can-sort of. If you’ve been on YouTube today, you’ll notice a new icon on the timeline bar of the video. It’s an icon of a face, with a beard and little braids.
If you look closely, you’ll see that the icon is actually a side view of Snoop Dogg. Click on it, and you’ll be transported into YouTube in Snoopavision.
In videos with Snoopavision, the video is playing on a movie theatre screen with Snoop Dogg himself making commentary. Users can drag their cursors across the screen for a 360 view of the theatre.
Only a few videos have this function, but the ones that do are absolutely hilarious. Try it out on this clip of Snoop Dogg himself rapping with Larry King!
There’s nothing like watching a video of Snoop Dogg with five other Snoop Doggs.
Is this a April Fool’s prank by YouTube? Even if it is, we’d absolutely love for this to last.
