Yungblud has unveiled a powerful visual for his new Halsey collaboration ’11 Minutes’ featuring Travis Barker.
Directed by Colin Tilley (Nicki Minaj, Little Mix, Kendrick Lamar), the cinematic visual explores five of the emotional stages of grief and loss as Yungblud sets his stopwatch to 11 minutes and races against time to try and save Halsey from a car crash.
He relives the same day time five times, highlighting the stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. However, scenes of happier times are also intertwined throughout including shots of a carefree romance between Halsey and Yungblud, whilst Travis showcases his drumming skills.
Speaking about the song and its visual, Yungblud tweeted: “To me this is the story of modern love in society – we are so distracted and focused on what’s next we fail to see whats actually in front of us. We don’t realise how much we depend on something ’til it’s taken away. I do it a lot. but it’s important to me to focus on the right now.”

During a recent trip to Australia’s Triple J Radio, Yungblud and Halsey took some time out to perform a cover for the station’s Like A Version series.
The pair opted to share their take on Death Cab for Cutie’s ‘I Will Follow You Into The Dark’. With Yungblud on piano, the beautifully stripped-back version allows both artists to showcase their unique vocals. During the latter half of the cover, the two are accompanied by a string trio, making the cover even more breathtaking.
