Fans of Zayn were contacted via Twitter and were invited to an exclusive listening party in New York City Wednesday evening. They were excited to finally hear the entirety of Zayn’s first solo album, Mind of Mine.
This was a listening party with a twist, however, seeing as the party was graced by the man of the hour himself!
Yes, you read that correctly, Zayn stayed up late and hung out with fans at his own listening party! Drinks were shared and selfies were taken. We’re sure it was a night to remember. The night was an intimate one, with Zayn reportedly taking aside a few fans at a time for a chat.
He commemorated the night through social media, taking to Twitter to share a simple tweet. He later posted a photo on Instagram, featuring himself talking to a few fans.

Looking back at where we were this time last year, and where Zayn was last year, obviously brings about many different emotions. Right now though, on the eve of the release of Mind of Mine we’re only feeling one thing: proud. Despite the many obstacles that stood in his way, Zayn pushed through and came out stronger. Baring his heart and soul, he created this album desiring to show us who he is, as both an artist and a person.
From what we’ve heard so far, Mind of Mine is incredible. Each song we’ve heard can stand entirely on its own, each representing a different genre while still having something completely of its own. We can’t wait to hear the rest of it!
