Zayn and Other Musicians Join the Gun Control Debate

After recent tragedies, many different artists have banned together to step up and take a stand. Zayn Malik being among the 180 plus musicians and executives who have signed this open letter to Congress, wanting to put an end to gun violence.

The letter was written by Billboard after the mass shooting at the nightclub, Pulse and the shooting that killed musician, Christina Grimmie only one day before. Due to people enjoying music in both locations, musicians joined together to try and bring an end to gun violence.

Along with Zayn Malik, others have also signed the letter. People such as Adam Lambert, Alicia Keys, Barbra Streisand, Brendon Urie, Charlie Puth, Conan O’Brien, and Demi Lovato. As well as, James Corden, Kesha, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ringo Star, Rob Lights, and more have signed.

Billboard asked musicians they cover to sign the letter and in only a few days they had numerous signatures.
