Since December, Zayn and Taylor Swift’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ has been the talk of social media. From it’s debut at the end of last year to the music video just days ago – it’s a sultry, emotional, and sexy tune written for the Fifty Shades Darker film and playlist. Tonight, Zayn surprised fans with an acoustic version of the tune and we’re still working on picking our jaw up off the floor.
Zayn’s vocals are rare and striking on any track he sings, and this one is no different. If anything, this is just further proof that music wouldn’t be the same without him.
When it comes to ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, his voice sounds so beautiful that we actually had tears in our eyes when we listened to it. There is no one else who could have done the song justice, it was absolutely meant for Zayn.
A fan replied to his original tweet saying that they need the track on iTunes asap and Zayn said it’s coming soon. To be honest, that’s the best news we’ve heard all day. We’ve been playing the original version on repeat more often than we’d like to admit, and now we have another song to add to our playlists.
