The time is finally here! July 15 marks the day that the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters premieres. With the new movie, comes its star-filled soundtrack that includes big name artists such as Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer, and you guessed it, Zayn!
Zayn’s new song is titled, “wHo.” It includes a modern take of the iconic line, “who you gonna call?” from the 1984 Ghostbusters theme song.

The song also includes paranormal references, such as the line, “be my ghost” in the bridge of the track. Although the song leaked a few days ago, fans can now officially purchase it on iTunes for $1.29!

Fans can tell that Zayn is just as excited as them for the release of “wHo.” All month, he retweeted posts related to Ghosbusters. One of them, which Capital London tweeted, is a remix of Zayn’s single, “Like I Would” mixed with the Ghosbusters theme song. He said, “Not what it sounds like..But this is still sick.”

Back in 2013, Zayn showcased a Ghostbusters T-shirt in the 2013 One Direction movie This Is Us. Fans must be proud to see Zayn starting as a fan of the film, to contributing to its soundtrack.
Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones star in the new Ghostbusters movie! The mixture of modern artists, such as Zayn, with an all female cast shows how the new Ghostbusters is adapting to the new generation of viewers!
