On 16 August, Alexandra Stan announced that she would drop a home town video when her current music video for “Ecoute” had hit 10 million views.

On Facebook, during the announcement, she went on to say: “I want to thank you for your love and support, you definitely are my besties!”.
Over a week later, the “Ecoute” music video hit 10 million views on YouTube and the fans waited in anticipation for the home town video.
Then it dropped, an online home town video for “Boom Pow”. In addition to the video, artwork for the song was also released.
“Boom Pow” was originally planned as the third single from Alexandra Stan’s third studio album Alesta. Shot back in April, the video was produced and directed by iRonic Distors. It also features her real life boyfriend Staruiala Bogdan.
Filmed in her hometown of Constanta in Romania, we watch various different scenes of Alexandra Stan and the place she calls home.
A lot of low-angled camera shots throughout the video, with Alexandra Stan performing and dancing. She can be seen wearing an orange swimsuit paired with a bright blue jacket, during the first scene. The basketball scene is intercut throughout, she’s wearing a khaki jacket with denim short shorts whilst a white vest top and white boots completes the look.
Always on form, Alexandra Stan’s fashion sense has even taken her as far as Japan, where she released her own fashion collection.
Credits include Alex Ifimov as her make-up and hair stylist, and Ema Banita as her fashion stylist. A simple but stylish online video for “Boom Pow”, Alexandra Stan is sexy, stylish and totally at home throughout.

Alexandra Stan is currently on tour in Japan, in support of her third studio album Alesta. The tour visits Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
Whether “Boom Pow” will become the fourth single from Alesta, is something Alexandra Stan’s fans are wondering. Since this video is an online video, it looks like it will a promotional release. Maybe she will finally release Alesta internationally, as she stated on Twitter back in June.
