KStewart is a mighty force to be reckoned with. Hailed as this generation’s answer to Mariah Carey, the fiesty starlet has been making huge waves in the industry over the past few years thanks to her jaw-dropping vocals and captivating energy.
Chances are, you’ve already had the privilege of familiarising yourself with Kate’s voice. From her solo single ‘Ain’t Nobody’ to her topline offering on Oliver Heldens’ ‘Last All Night (Koala)’, she has captured fans across the world, racking up huge Spotify streaming figures along the way. She has also received airplay on some of the UK’s most influential radio stations, including Radio 1, 1Xtra, Capital and Kiss FM.
Back in April, we shared Kate’s latest track ‘Hands’ (featuring Yungen) with you as part of our New Music Round Up. Since then, we have been playing the Caribbean-tinged RnB offering on repeat. It’s the perfect addition to any summer playlist and we guarantee you’ll be hooked on it from the off.
Just when we thought we couldn’t love the song any more than we already do, Kate has decided to share an acoustic version of ‘Hands’. Joined by her brother David, who co-wrote the song, on guitar, Kate delivers a stripped back performance which showcases her voice beautifully. The relaxed setting adds to the chilled effect of the song, although it is just as infectious as the original version. We love the whole acoustic vibe and how Kate’s vocal glides effortlessly over David’s guitar playing. If you want a dreamy song to relax to, then ‘Hands (Acoustic)’ is just what you need.
We’re delighted to be premiering the acoustic video for ‘Hands’ today so without further ado, check out KStewart’s gorgeous version below.
Between her mesmerising vocals and sassy stage presence, Kate is a unique artist who demands your attention. We have no doubt that KStewart is going to continue climbing to the top during the rest of 2017 and beyond.
