This week, singer and songwriter Conor Maynard celebrated his tenth year of being on YouTube! To celebrate, we’re going to pick our top five covers from his channel! Conor joked with his fans that his tenth year on YouTube has made him feel old. Us too, Conor!

Conor, 23, has racked up almost half a billion views over the past decade with his covers and since 2012, his original songs such as “R U Crazy?” and “Turn Around” have had phenomenal chart success after being signed to EMI. Although Conor’s covers only date back to 2009 – that’s seven years worth of amazing covers we can still enjoy! After finding success in the charts and also touring with huge artists such as Ne-Yo and The Vamps, Conor never strayed from his roots and continued to upload covers. In fact, some of his most recent videos have been the most popular ones on his channel.
Without further ado, let’s take a trip down memory lane and feel all nostalgic…
A Beyoncé twist
Conor and his sister, Anna, recorded a unique cover of Beyoncé’s “If I Were a Boy” way back in 2009. Conor switched up the first verse, singing from a male perspective and his then eight-year-old sister took over the vocals for part of the song. Awwww. The cover is currently at 900,000 views and that seems like nothing compared to some of his most recent videos!
Short but sweet!
This short but beautiful cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” has hit over 5,000,000 views in six years – pretty impressive! Even back in 2010, Conor had his Mayniacs in the palm of his hand with that dreamy melody in his voice!
Smashing chart hits
Conor is known for covering the latest chart hits and his acoustic cover of Swedish House Mafia’s club jam “Don’t You Worry Child” certainly made an impact! Even the smallest of twists when recording a cover can make it sound fab and unique which is what Conor definitely does best!
Spicing it up

Conor was vocal on social media about how nervous he was when uploading this cover of Desiigner’s “Panda” as he took a different spin on the song and added in his own lyrics. Well, we think he had nothing to worry about!
Hello…23 million views!
We couldn’t resist including this. It just had to be done, didn’t it? Conor’s most popular cover to date is of course, his beautiful cover of Adele’s Hello. This simple but breathtaking cover reminds us of Conor’s talent and how far he’s come in the past decade.
Here’s to another great ten years, Conor!
