Back in October 2016, The Vamps and Matoma released ‘All Night’, a mammoth EDM collab which continues to be a huge success for both artists.
Now, they are teaming up once more and it seems like we’re in for another all-nighter! ‘Staying Up’ is Matoma’s new single and will feature The Vamps. The track is set for release on Friday (September 1) but can be pre-saved on Spotify now.
Matoma started to hype up the excitement a few days ago, by announcing that new music was coming soon. He shared a video with four mysterious silhouettes, as well as an uptempo instrumental. It didn’t take long for the detectives in The Vamps’ fanbase to notice that the silhouettes resembled Connor, Tristan, Brad and James, which soon caused a frenzy.

Just yesterday, both Matoma and The Vamps took to Twitter to confirm the collaboration and release date. This time, the video unveiled the band’s faces and also included a snippet of the chorus which, FYI, is already sounding super catchy.
So excited to collaborate with @TheVampsBand again! ?? New single #StayingUp out 1/9 BUT pre-save on @Spotify now! https://t.co/E6muM0IRue pic.twitter.com/UIpon8qtfH

We’re a mere six days away from hearing the track in full, but we’re already beyond excited for another collaboration from this dream team. We’re also starting to think that Connor, Tristan, Brad and James are beginning to live up to their vampy band name. ‘Staying Up’, ‘All Night’, ‘Middle of the Night’…do these guys ever sleep?!
The Vamps and Matoma’s previous collaboration, ‘All Night’, has been a huge global success. Since its release, it has racked up over 266 MILLION streams on Spotify. The track has also been certified Gold in the UK, The Vamps’ second and Matoma’s first single to do so. Following the track’s success, we’re expecting big things from ‘Staying Up’ and from the teaser, we don’t think we’re going to be disappointed.
