So far, this is the only date that has been announced, however, a statement said that: “The show will form part of a series of concerts that will be toured worldwide, with expanded visuals and a brand new set list including songs that have never been played live. The 1975’s constantly evolving performance will fuse art and technology to create a unique live experience.”
The band have released a video to coincide with the announcement, with the 19-second clip showing The 1975’s logo outside the iconic arena.
The 1975 have had an incredible year so far, with their second album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It hitting number one in the UK and the US. Performing at the O2 Arena, amongst other venues, at the end of the year will be the icing on the cake for the band.
