2017 was a very important year for K Pop group BTS. Apart from being one of the biggest groups in South Korea, they are now breaking into American pop music. This past May, they became the first Korean act to receive a Billboard Music Award in the US, and most recently, they received their first Teen Choice Award for “Choice International Artist.” With their rising international success, their fanbase of ARMYs also continue to grow.
Today marks a special day for ARMYs around the world, as it celebrates member Jungkook’s 20th birthday. Jungkook is known to fans as the “golden maknae” because although he is the youngest member of BTS, he has proved time and time again that he can do anything. From singing, to dancing, to rapping, he excels at anything he sets his mind to.
