After seeing some of the great duets tonight on X Factor, we were inspired to compile a list of what we think are some of the best duets to ever grace the X Factor UK stage.

Alexandra Burke and Beyonce Knowles – Series 5 .

We could Listen to this all day. Alexandra has a fantastic voice as she went on to prove by winning the show and recently nabbing the lead role in The Bodyguard the Musical. Teaming her with Beyonce was a stroke of pure genius. Two amazing vocal talents giving it everything they have.

One Direction and Robbie Williams – Series 7.

One Direction were favorites to win the series when they duet-ted with Robbie Willams who was also once in a boy band back in the day called Take That. Since the show  and coming a very respectable  third the boys have gone on to basically rule the world and become the biggest boy band in the history of boy bands. They are currently getting ready to take a well earned rest, but boy have they earned it five  albums and tours in five years is enough to tire anyone out.

Stacey  Solomon and Michael Buble -Series 6.

Stacey and Michael left everyone feeling good with this duet. Since X Factor Stacey has gone on to become Queen of The Jungle on I’m A Celeb and earlier this year released a book called Walk On By.

Little Mix and Tulisa.- Series 8

Little Mix added a fifth member to the group for this performance duetting with their mentor Tulisa. The girls went on to win the show and have recently released their third album  Get Weird. And a UK tour arena tour next year, they are going from strength to strength.

Which duet has been your favourite ever?
