Who doesn’t love a good Christmas cover? And who doesn’t love a 4th Impact cover? Well, now we get the best of both worlds with 4th Impact releasing a cover of Mariah Carey’s version of “O Holy Night” on their official YouTube channel.
4th Impact are best known for being contestants on the shows Superstar K6 and The X Factor. In the former, they were on the sixth season, and they came in at eighth place. As for the latter, they competed in the tenth series and finished in fifth place; their audition tape, though, is The X Factor UK‘s most viewed video on their YouTube Channel. They consist of Almira Cercado, Irene Cercado, Mylene Cercado, and Celina Cercado. They’ve been working hard on their career the last couple of years and we’re excited to see what the future brings to these four sisters. They’ve frequently dropped covers on their YouTube channel, this year, with our favourites being Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Pentatonix’s version of John Lennon’s “Imagine”, and Selena Gomez’s “Lose You To Love Me”. Now we’ve got another to add to the list.
Every single cover that 4th Impact does manages to blow us away, their voices are out of this world and completely angelic on this track. Not only are each of the girls’ vocals on-point, strong, and incredible, but their harmonies are full-on rich and truly amazing. 4th Impact really could sing anything and it’ll still sound brilliant.
The video is basic and simple, showing the girls recording the song in the studio. They manage to showcase who they are as a group during the instrumental when they’re waiting for the next lyrics – within this time they hug and joke around with dance moves and finger-clicks.
