Caitlyn Vanbeck is best known for appearing on The X Factor in 2016. She impressed Judges at her initial audition with her version of ‘Piece By Piece’ by Kelly Clarkson. Caitlyn progressed through Bootcamp and the Six Chair Challenge. Unfortunately, at the Judges Houses stage, she didn’t make it to the Live Shows.

Since appearing on the show, Caitlyn has gained a lot of support and has supported many artists, most recently supporting Sam Bailey on the Glasgow date of her ‘Sing My Heart Out Tour.’

Caitlyn regularly releases covers on to her social media accounts. Here at CelebMix, we take a look at some of our favourite covers by Caitlyn.

    1. ‘Shoutout To My Ex’ (Little Mix)

We absolutely LOVE this version of one of our favourite Little Mix songs! Caitlyn adapted the song and truly made it her own. ‘Shoutout To My Ex’ became Little Mix’s fourth number one single in the UK. The song is the ultimate break-up anthem and won the girls – Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie – their first BRIT award for ‘Best British Single’ in 2017.

    2. ‘Hurts’ (Emeli Sande)

Caitlyn took inspiration to do this incredible cover after seeing Emeli Sande live. ‘Hurts’ is an extremely popular song and Caitlyn’s version is beautiful. She adds her own unique sound to the track. The song ‘Hurts’ reached Number 22 on the UK Singles Chart and is taken from Emeli Sande’s second album, titled ‘Long Live The Angels.’

    3. ‘Castle On The Hill’ (Ed Sheeran)

This is again another incredible cover by Caitlyn. Caitlyn’s cover is an acoustic version of one of Ed Sheeran’s most popular songs. ‘Castle On The Hill’ was a lead single from Ed Sheeran’s third studio album, which was released in March 2017. The song debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart on 13 January, selling 193,000 copies in its first week of release.

    4. ‘Into You’ (Ariana Grande)

Again, Caitlyn made the song her own and put a completely different twist on the song. ‘Into You’ is a song taken off Ariana Grande’s third studio album, titled ‘Dangerous Woman.’ The song earned Ariana Grande four nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards.

    5. ‘Sorry’ (Justin Bieber)

This cover provided Caitlyn with the opportunity to show off her incredible vocals. ‘Sorry’ was the second single off Justin Bieber’s fourth studio album ‘Purpose.’ The track topped the charts in thirteen countries when it was released back in 2015.
