5 Halsey Covers You Need For The Summer

Halsey is a new alternative artist with her hit album, Badlands. She is currently on tour, which will run from July to September. She is set to make stops all across the US, UK, and Canada. Apart from music, Halsey is known to be an active supporter of the LGBT community. She recently raised funds to help support the victims of the Orlando tragedy. We thought it would be fun to show our appreciation of Halsey by picking some of our favorite covers!

5.) “New America” -Mackenzie Johnson

Mackenzie Johnson is a 23-year-old artist from Philadelphia. In her five years on Youtube, Mackenzie accumulated over 391,000 subscribers! Mackenzie posts videos every Monday, including both covers and originals. Her covers include songs from Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and more! Hear her cover of “New Americana!”

4.) “Hurricane” -LaurenBonnell24

Over the course of five years, Lauren earned over 242,000 subscribers! In the majority of her videos, Lauren covers songs on her guitar. She can also play the piano and ukulele. She writes many of her own original songs that are available on iTunes. Listen to her sing “Hurricane.”

2.) “Young God” -Ashley Pantzare

Many fans of Ashley Pantzare say that she reminds them of Halsey! This isn’t the first time Ashley has covered the singer.
