Say Now are the British girl group everyone’s talking about — and for good reason!

Since bursting onto the scene back in 2023, the fearless pop trio — made up of Ysabelle “Yssy” Salvanera, Amelia Onuorah, and Madeleine “Maddie” Haynes — have turned online buzz into real-world acclaim, winning a legion of loyal fans with their glossy hooks, razor-sharp choreography, and Y2K inspired style.

Balancing attitude with escapism, Say Now capture the chaos and charm of modern life in a sound that fuses pop, dance, and R&B with a hint of soul. Their sharp, conversational lyrics — often unpacking love, heartbreak, and self-worth — add wit and relatability, carrying timely messages of female empowerment and sisterhood straight to the heart of their fans.

Bold, fearless, and impossible to ignore, here are 5 ICONIC Say Now moments we think about daily…

Say Now scored the ultimate pop stamp of approval in the summer of 2024, when they were invited to open for Kylie Minogue at BST Hyde Park. Performing in front of a buzzing, sun-soaked London crowd, the super-talented trio lit up the Birdcage Stage with their slick choreography, powerhouse vocals, and killer tunes.

Warming up audiences for the Queen of Pop herself was no small feat, but Yssy, Amelia, and Maddie proved they were more than ready to join the big leagues!

    RISING STARS

    Say Now

Cementing their status as one of THE most exciting acts to watch in 2025 and beyond, the girls were named winners of the Samsung Rising Star award at GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards 2024.

Celebrated by the magazine for their modern-day spin on the Spice Girls’ iconic Girl Power ethos, and hailed as being the only group capable of filling the “huge hole” left by Little Mix, the accolade marked a defining milestone in the band’s fast-rising career!

    GIRL BAND CROSSOVER

When girl band worlds collide, magic happens – just ask pop fans who spotted Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle making a surprise cameo in Say Now’s music video for ‘Trouble’.

The crossover was a cheeky nod to lovers of both bands, with Nadine bringing her signature charisma into the chaos of the track’s rebellious energy. It wasn’t just a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment either – her presence gave the video an extra dose of star power, turning what could’ve been just another music drop into a moment of pop culture mischief.

    NEEDANAMEBRO

    Say Now

Released in August 2023 under their transitional name, Say Now’s debut EP ‘Needanamebro’ was a confident, refreshing showcase of their pop-R&B sound, packed with vibrant harmonies and fearless storytelling. From the liberating energy of ‘Netflix (Better Now Without You)’ to the tender honesty of ‘Not a Lot Left to Say’, and the heartfelt celebration of friendship in ‘Better Love’, every track felt genuine and full of personality.

With its mix of slick production, acoustic moments, and playful nods to 2000s nostalgia, the EP captured the trio’s chemistry, charm and sisterhood, firmly establishing them as a girl group with serious potential.

    HEADLINERS

In May Say Now lit up The Camden Assembly with their first headline show, turning the storied venue into a pop playground for one electric night. The trio delivered slick harmonies, polished choreography, and the kind of charisma that had the crowd hooked from the first beat. It felt less like a small gig and more like a glimpse of a girl group destined for much bigger stages.
