This week marks CelebMix’s fifth birthday so we’ve decided to celebrate by dedicating articles to some of our favourite celebrities. This one is all about Little Mix!
There’s no doubt that Little Mix are the queens of putting on a live performance. Always primed and ready with flawless vocals, sensational outfits and fierce dance breaks, Little Mix go all out whether they’re performing at an awards ceremony, festival, TV show or their own headline tours.
Over the years, Little Mix have delivered countless iconic performances and here at CelebMix we’ve rounded up five of our favourites for you to enjoy too.
‘Move’ at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball 2016
Little Mix have been guests at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball on four occasions, each time slaying the crowd with their high energy performance. One of our favourite moments came in 2016 when they gave their classic track ‘Move’ a jazzy little reinvention. Showcasing Jade’s silky and sultry vocals, her intro leads into show stopping harmonies from the girls before the infectious beat kicks in.
‘Shout Out To My Ex’ at the BRIT Awards 2017
Having performed at the BRIT Awards on three occasions, any one of their performances could have made this list. However, our ultimate favourite was their sensational performance of ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ back in 2017. Making their way to the stage on thrones whilst being carried by men, Little Mix proved that they are absolute QUEENS who deserve all the respect in the music industry. A phenomenal performance followed, full of fierce attitude which went down in BRITs history.
‘Secret Love Song’ at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball 2018
As well as being STB regulars, Little Mix are also Jingle Bell Ball favourites and are one of the most frequent performers at Capital’s Christmas show. During their last JBB, they delivered a truly spine-tingling performance of fan favourite track ‘Secret Love Song’. Each member had the chance to showcase their ethereal vocals, and there are SO many standout moments within this performance including the relatable moment when the girls start bowing down to Perrie after she nails her high note. This performance is just one of many which highlights the raw talent these girls possess – we are not worthy!
‘Woman Like Me’ – Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2019
Bringing the sass to Middlesbrough, Little Mix were without doubt one of the highlights of Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2019. Not only did they make neon green the colour of the summer, but they delivered another incredible performance which featured amazing choreography including this feisty dance break during ‘Woman Like Me’.
‘Touch’ at One World: Together at Home 2020
Little Mix recently took part in the One World: Together at Home live stream and blew us away with their pitch-perfect stripped back performance of ‘Touch’. Despite performing from their respective homes, Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Jade and Perrie managed to deliver a mind-blowing arrangement full of angelic vocals and heavenly harmonies. Is there anything these girls can’t do?!
