This week marks CelebMix’s fifth birthday so we’ve decided to celebrate by dedicating articles to some of our favourite celebrities. This one is all about Niall Horan and his music videos!
Since embarking on his solo career, Niall Horan has grown from to strength to strength as an artist. Not only has he honed a strong sound, but he’s also accompanied his tracks with slick music videos which often showcase his personality and Irish charm.
If you’re looking for your Nialler fix, then we’ve chosen five of our favourite music videos to share with you!
‘No Judgement’
Taken from his sophomore album Heartbreak Weather, ‘No Judgement’ was teamed up with a hilarious music video which follows an elderly couple’s quaint love story. Directed by Drew Kirsch and shot in Los Angeles, the visual sees the couple behaving in an unconventional way with Niall looking on whilst trying not to pass judgement. From eating shrimp from in-between their partner’s toes to giving a massage whilst their partner lies on a bed of fruit, this visual is quirky AF and we love it.
‘Slow Hands’
Whilst the official video for ‘Slow Hands’ is actually a lyric video, we love it as it gives us a glimpse of Niall’s life on the road. From rehearsing to writing in the studio, messing around with his crew to performing on stage in front of thousands, this video perfectly captures all of these special moments. It’s also Niall’s most watched video to date!
‘Heartbreak Weather’
In the run up to the release of Heartbreak Weather, Niall Horan turned into weatherman Niall Storm, offering us hilarious updates about life, the weather and of course, the album. The video for the title track is an extension of this, and we’re obsessed with it because who doesn’t want more Niall Storm in their lives? We love the creativity behind the concept and this video perfectly showcases why Niall is so adorable.
‘Too Much To Ask’
The visual for ‘Too Much To Ask’ is a lot more stripped back than some of Niall’s other videos, however, the raw emotion behind it makes it incredibly special. Directed by Malia James, the video sees Niall trying to come to terms with a lost love. From singing alone in an empty room to watching a couple being lovey dovey on the tube, Niall eventually manages to raise his spirits whilst in the company of his friends.
‘Nice To Meet Ya’
‘Nice To Meet Ya’ showcases Niall’s flirty side as a mystery blonde-haired girl leaves his flat in the morning. With the girl managing to forget her phone, the video then rewinds the clock to 24 hours previously, as we watch Niall go about his day in the run up to going out with his pals and meeting this mystery lady. The video perfectly matches the cheeky vibe of the song and we can’t get enough of it!
