4 months, 76 days, 1,824 hours, and 109,440 minutes.
Yes, that’s how long One Direction’s hiatus has been since their last performance on the X-Factor in December 2015 – but if you ask us, it feels as if 7 lifetimes have passed by instead. (Please give us a minute while we try to gather ourselves).
But rather than focusing on the very sad fact that one of our favorite boyband’s will not be touring this year, let’s reflect on one of the most idolized friendships known today; Narry. 
The ever so lovely Harry Styles and Niall Horan are not only huge heart throbs to millions of girls around the world, but evidently to each other as well. In fact, they are so cute when they’re together that we’ve been suffering from some serious Narry withdrawals.
Here is why…
When They Make Each Other Laugh
As our avid Directioners know, it doesn’t take much to get a laugh out of Mr. Niall Horan. But when it comes to Harry, he’s the only one who really knows how to make Niall laugh in a way no one else can. It could be from his terrible puns, or him just simply tripping over his own two feet – but whenever Narry are together, Niall racks up an ab workout. Something we thoroughly enjoy watching.

But let’s not forget that it takes two to tango, and that Niall is the perfect candidate to make Harry’s bad days better. It may not be as easy to make Harry laugh as it is for Niall, but after 5 years of building the friendship they have – it’s nearly second nature for the irish lad. So much so, that Harry often can’t help but cover his face from laughing too hard.

They’re Supportive Of Each Other
It’s always important to make sure you surround yourself around the people who project positivity, and that’s one of the main reasons why we feel Niall and Harry get along so well. No matter the situation, they are consistently finding ways to make each other feel good.
And we certainly can’t forget to mention one of the most iconic moments in Narry history: May 26th, 2014 – the day Niall hosted a charity football match that helped raise awareness for Irish Autism Action. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful event, and after Styles managed to surprise us all with a killer goal, our fragile hearts took a turn when he immediately ran towards Niall.
It was definitely a special moment. One that not only leaves a huge smile on our faces, but one that we enjoy reliving over and over again. (Thank god for YouTube, right?)
The Famous Narry Hug
Now if you’re a Narry shipper, or even so much as find their friendship intriguing, you’ll know about THE hug. It happens so often that it’s almost as if their bodies were chemically made to have the perfect hug. There really is no other way to describe it, it’s just absolutely perfect. 
Maybe it’s the way Harry takes Niall into his arms so effortlessly – as if it’s the last time he’ll ever be given the chance to hug him, or maybe it’s the simple fact that they look so incredibly happy in the moment… but whatever the reason may be, it makes us want to throw ourselves right in the middle.
Wouldn’t that be nice?
They Can’t Keep Their Hands Away
No matter how hard they try (they really don’t try that hard), their hands cannot be kept off of each other. Whether it’s backstage, onstage, or even in an interview, there is no chance they can go the entire time without touching each other at least once. But hey, who are we to complain? It does nothing but make us happy! 
Okay so we understand that we might have gotten a little carried away there, but do you blame us?!
Big Spoon & Little Spoon
This may not sound important, but we promise that it is very important.
Back in 2014 during an interview in Australia before the boys began their Where We Are Tour, Narry discovered that they are the perfect spooning buddies.

For a boyband full of members who can’t really dance that well, Niall and Harry always manage to put together their own little moves. They’re certainly no Dancing With The Stars couple, but it’s never a dull moment to watch them get into their own music.
But nine out of ten times, the end result looks a little something like this…

But at the end of the day, our favorite moments of Niall and Harry can’t be measured by the specifics. They’re always the ones that are the most raw and natural – when Narry are simply just being Narry.
The love Harry and Niall have for each other is evidently eternal, and certainly the friendship that most of us dream of not only having, but being part of. No matter where they are or where they go, we will continue to admire every moment they provide us.
We sincerely hope you two are enjoying your time off, and eagerly await seeing you reunite in just a couple of months!
