5 Seconds of Summer fans are you ready to shop? The group has recently been opening pop-up shops in various cities that they are touring in around the world. These shops have exclusive merchandise that are must-haves for any 5SOS fan.
5 Seconds of Summer announced the first round of pop-up stores on July 30th, 2018 for the start of their tour in Japan. Two shops opened, one in Osaka from August 1st through August 5th, and the other in Tokyo from August 1st through August 6th.
“One of the things I love most about being in
@5sos is being apart of creating extensions of our music. Like merchandise that represents our fans and band. Today is an amazing day for us, we are launching our first pop up store here in TOKYO,” 5SOS member Ashton Irwin wrote the day of the Tokyo’s store’s launch.

After Japan, the group made their way back home to Australia and opened a store there, which was open for one day only on August 9th in Sydney. Nothing has been confirmed for the other four Australian dates of the tour that run through next week.
As for what is being sold at the pop up shops, fans can get their hands on new t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, bags, caps, posters, and let’s not forget about those bomber jackets that every 5SOS fan has wanted for months.
The group started wearing and giving away the bomber jackets to other celebrities earlier this year, which sparked interest from fans around the world. They are black bomber jackets with “5SOS” written on the front and “Youngblood” written on the back, on top of the group’s album artwork.

What has really been making these shops special is the fact that Ashton, Calum, Michael, and Luke have been dropping by the store locations randomly while they are opened to greet fans. Although the members are not announcing if or when they will stop by, it is still fun to think that there is a chance that guys might make an appearance.
