Earlier this week, 5 Seconds of Summer released their latest track ‘No Shame’, and now the four-piece have dropped its incredible accompanying music video.
Directed by the acclaimed Hannah Lux Davis, the visual for ‘No Shame’ is a cinematic release which sees Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton take an utterly shameless approach to fame, no matter the cost.
Each member plays a different character, with Calum living the suburban life with a creepy wife and two kids, Michael taking selfies after a car crash, Ashton as a mad scientist, and Luke faking his own death. It’s a bonkers video which perfectly captures some of the extremities which people will go to for fame.
Speaking about the working with 5 Seconds of Summer on the music video, director Hannah said: ““It was so much fun collaborating with the guys on this video. They fearlessly dove into each scene and trusted me to deliver a visual with this much punch. It’s something different for all of us and I’m excited with how it turned out.”

‘No Shame’ is taken from 5 Seconds of Summer’s forthcoming studio album CALM, which was also announced this week. Their fourth record is due for release on March 27.
Speaking about the album, Luke said in a statement: “CALM speaks on a journey through a young man’s life, for better or for worse. We are all human and all make mistakes, sometimes we hurt the ones we love and inevitably, ourselves in the process. CALM leaves the band in a much happier, unified and calm state of mind to continue making albums for years to come.”
CALM is available to pre-order now.
