5 Seconds Of Summer aka 5SOS have delivered a new breezy remix of their song “Easier” featuring “See You Again” and “Voicenotes” famed Charlie Puth.
Adding a frosty edge to “Easier”, a deeper touch of Charlie’s voice gives a stunning new dimension to the slow heartbreak single, which hit streaming platforms on Tuesday, August 13.

5SOS, the Australian pop-rock group consisting of Michael Clifford, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, and Luke Hemmings, released the song earlier this summer, which received a good response from their listeners.
Now they’ve added the mesmerizing vocals of Charlie Puth in addition to some lyrics for an amazing remix of the track. Charlie takes over the intro and the chorus, and adds his own lyrics to the track as it tests what he believes to be the limits of his partner’s fidelity, turning the song into an absolutely breathtaking summer jam.
The week before, 5SOS teased the collab by wearing shirts with Charlie‘s name on them while they were seen out and about, ahead of dropping their collabration.

Charlie co-wrote the 5SOS single with Ryan Tedder, Louis Bell, Ali Tamposi and Andrew Watt. He sings before he delivers his rendition of the original pre-chorus and chorus, turning “Easier” into a classic Puth-style song. He adds,
“Why you always lookin’ at your phone/ Watchin’ people you don’t even know/ I could lay here by myself alone, yeah/ I don’t want us to be enemies/ So I’m thinkin’ maybe I should leave/ ‘Cause you’re bringing out the worst in me, yeah,”
Back in May, 5SOS debuted their Nine Inch Nails-inspired track “Easier.” The latest Puth-styled remix of “Easier” follows 5SOS’ “Live From the Vault” version, which features a more electric-guitar driven bassline.
