5 Seconds of Summer recently ended two headline tours and released their latest album, but this era has brought fans tons of extra surprises. These surprises include new music videos and alternate versions of their favorite singles.
The band’s latest single, Lie to Me, was first introduced on the 5SOS III promotional tour before their album Youngblood, and since then, it’s been a fan favorite. The fans and the band love the song so much, as there have been multiple versions produced, including the latest which is an acoustic version.

This acoustic rendition showcases each individual instrument in a new way and highlights the voices of each band member. This isn’t the only alternate version of the song though. Before the acoustic version, 5SOS also released a version featuring Julia Michaels, who helped write on their third album, Youngblood, which was released last June. This version even included some lyric changes. Fans also have the option to check out the soothing version of the single the boys did in collaboration with Spotify.
If all of that wasn’t enough, 5SOS also released the Lie to Me music video last week for fans that have been waiting since they posted a cryptic tweet hinting at it last April.
Now fans have just about all they could ask for, but it seems 5SOS still have more in store as fans have noticed them already getting back to work in the studio for album four! Maybe we’ll see them on tour again soon with new music!
