Ever the sports spectator, Niall Horan looked rather dashing as he attended the UFC 196 Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz fight. The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday evening.
Prior to the match, Horan tweeted his excitement and voiced his support for fellow Irishman McGregor.
The 22-year-old was interviewed at the venue by @btsportufc. Sporting his signature glasses, and newly dyed blonde hair, Horan commented on the win of Miesha Tate over Holly Holm. The singer gushed about Tate, calling her a “warrior” and also commending Holm for lasting as long as she did in the fight. With a smile on his face, Horan admitted that he was happy to be there.
It seems like only major sporting events can pull Horan from his excursions around the world. He was recently in Thailand with friends, including Eoghan McDermott. Snapshots of the group showed Horan and friends enjoying themselves and lounging on a beach.
Horan also recently reunited with fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson. The pair, accompanied by Louis’ sister Lottie, spent a night out. Tomlinson later posted a group photo of the night, noting in the caption that he missed Niall.
It seems that Niall Horan is enjoying himself during One Direction’s hiatus, keeping his head down–unless a major sporting event beckons, of course.
