Some of Britney Spears most iconic outfits are to be auctioned off.
Britney superfan Dana Proctor, is selling 7 of Spears’ old costumes including the outfit Brit wore at the 2001 VMA’s where she performed ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’ whilst holding a yellow python.

Other outfits up for sale include the custom-made Versace Atelier dress Britney wore at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, the Levi’s chaps from Spears’ ‘Overprotected’ music video and the outfit she wore in the ‘Me Against the Music’ video with Madonna in 2003.

Writing on eBay Dana says “I’ve collected theses outfits since 2003 when Britney auctioned them off.”
“They are all authentic with Authenticity Certificates.”
“These are arguably the most iconic costumes in music history. Britney is ending her Piece of me show in Vegas at the end of the year, and with this being her 9th album, it wouldn’t surprise me if she retires after 18 years (just my thoughts).”
Proctor is selling the seven outfits as a collection and hopes to make a million dollars from the sale.
Speaking to the Edmonton Sun Dana said “I don’t know how to put a value on this kind of memorabilia.”
“With a Marilyn Monroe dress recently going for $4.8 million… it’s based on who hears about it and how badly somebody wants it. And then if I’m willing to let it go at that price.”
So far bidding for the iconic set of outfits worn by Spears stands at $99,995.00.
