After wiping his account clean earlier in the week, A$AP Rocky has returned to Instagram to share clips of his new music.

Sharing images and snippets of unreleased music via his Insta-Story on Thursday (January 4th), the 29-year-old rapper and fashion icon now has fans guessing as to when the project will be released.

Originally there had been speculation that the upcoming album could be titled ‘Testing’ – which was the caption used to accompany the new music, however when posting on Instagram yesterday, A$AP simply wrote ‘REVIVAL’ leading some followers to believe this that this in fact could be the albums title.

Speaking to GQ late last year, the rapper revealed he was hard at work on his third studio album following 2013’s Long. Live. A$AP. and 2015’s At. Long. Last. A$AP.

Explaining he would be experimenting with fresh sounds that are much different than what’s currently charting, A$AP spoke of the inspiration behind the new album.

“My new album is really about testing new sounds” the Fashion Killa star said.

“People are scared to test new sounds, so they go with what’s current, ’cause it’s the easy thing to do.”

“I don’t just rap, I actually make music. That’s why it takes time.”

    “These sonics represent me.”

No more information is known about the album other than A$AP has been recording in London and that Skepta will feature on one of the tracks.

Speaking on his decision to work in the British Capital the American rapper explained “it’s just special to me for some reason.”

“I’m just… I express myself way better when I’m in an environment that allows me to be.”

“When I’m here, for the most part, I’m in a peaceful, creative environment and I’m testing the waters and making new music, messing around with new sounds and anything that’s innovative.”
