After releasing ‘Warm In The Room’ a few months ago, Abi Hudson has finally unveiled its accompanying music video.
The visual is gentle and simplistic, which works perfectly for the poignant ballad. Abi performs the song throughout the video, portraying the raw emotion behind the lyrics. There is something so compelling about both the visual and Abi’s delivery – the end result is hauntingly beautiful.
About the track, Abi says “‘Warm in The Room is a really special song for me, I love its simplicity. It really allows you to focus in on the lyrics and story. In short the song is about loss. I’ve never really told anyone explicitly what it’s about because I want people to take their own meaning from it, but if you’ve ever experienced loss, be that losing a loved one, breaking up with someone or whatever it may be, I think and hope this track will make a lot of sense to you.”
‘Warm In The Room’ follows on from ‘Fragile Around You’, with both songs expected to appear on Abi’s highly anticipated debut EP, which is due for release later this year. Judging from what we’ve heard so far, we can expect a powerful collection of personal songs from the young starlet.
Despite only being 18-years-old, Abi is wise beyond her years and radiates an energy which is impossible to ignore. We can’t wait to hear more from Abi Hudson throughout 2017.
