Adele expands her Australia tour due to overwhelming demand

It isn’t just Brits that love Adele – the whole world has fallen in love with her angelic voice, meaningful song lyrics and witty sense of humour, which can be proven by the fact that she is expanding her tour of Australia!

The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer will be singing “Hello from the other side…of the world” next year as she is set to tour ‘down under’ for the first time and more dates are being added due to overwhelming demand for tickets. Well, she is Adele so this is hardly a shock to us!

Today, Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, added a second date for Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium on 19th March 2017 after Adele’s first show sold out in a staggering 35 minutes. Well, we say staggering but, like we said, she is ADELE.

Soon after, Live Nation also added a second date for Brisbane’s Gabba stadium for 5th March. The first show for that venue sold out in less than 30 minutes, which Live Nation has described an “unbelievable and overwhelming level of demand.”

Adele’s Australia Live 2017 tour now contains seven dates. The shows shall begin on 28th February at Domain Stadium in Perth and her final performance is set to be on that extra Etihad Stadium date on 19th March. After finishing up there, Adele will then perform a one-off show at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium on 23rd March. Tickets for that date go on sale on 24th November so, if you’re an Adele fan and will be in that area, now’s your chance to see her live!

Adele announced her Australian tour earlier this month by Tweeting a handwritten note to her fans.
