The Australian pop-duo’s latest single takes a stroll through elements of R&B, with incredible soulful vocals and sparkling pop hooks. Flourishing with emotion it is clear to see the vocals come from a place deep down inside. Written about a time of personal suffering, ‘Heal’ offers as a guide through that pain, accepting it and understanding it so you can move on fully.
‘Heal’ is to be the first single released off of the duo’s latest upcoming mini-album, released later this year. The mini-album will be focused around the process of healing, how music can be used as a healing tool, not just in the emotional sense but in the spiritual sense too.
Talking about the track, Ruby states that “It’s about accepting that for whatever reason our souls chose the families and relationships we have in order to learn and move forward in our evolution and consciousness. Pain is unpleasant. So as humans we tend to want to avoid it. But the source of our pain can at times hold our greatest gifts if we have the courage to face it and lay ourselves bare to healing deeply and thoroughly from it.”
The single comes out at a perfect time as the pair will be embarking on a month long tour, travelling all across the UK, supporting the incredible Roachford.
