All Eyes on Dina Renée as She “Glows Up” This Summer

Los Angeles-based pop artist Dina Renée is ushering in the season with style, sass, and unapologetic sparkle. Following the success of her empowering March release “Ready When I’m Gone,” Renée returns with her second single of the year, “Glow Up”—a defiant post-breakup anthem that invites listeners to trade heartbreak for high heels and hit the pavement with renewed confidence.

Released independently, “Glow Up” packs a punch with its bouncy, infectious pop production by AJ Arroyo and songwriting collaboration with Brooke Tomlinson. Clocking in at just over three minutes, the track is a sonic celebration of self-worth, resilience, and feminine flair, highlighted by Renée’s signature sultry vocals and a hook destined for mirror selfies and rooftop soundtracks.

But beyond its playful surface, the song taps into a deeper emotional core. “‘Glow Up’ is about finding your sparkle again—it captures the moment that you stop second guessing your worth, wipe your tears, and start glowing from the inside out,” Renée shared. “It’s a reminder that healing can be glamorous too.”

The single arrives with perfectly timed summer energy: bold, empowering, and designed to strut to. It’s the kind of pop that isn’t just catchy, but cathartic. “Glow Up” doesn’t wallow in heartbreak; it walks right out of it, mascara intact and heels on. The standout lyric, “I’m more me leaving you behind… ‘cause losing you was such a glow up,” sums up the emotional pivot at the heart of the track: the realization that self-love often begins where love lost ends.

Dina Renée, who built a loyal following through her ability to blend glossy production with raw storytelling, is no stranger to transforming pain into power. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, she taught herself piano at the age of three and began writing music as a way to navigate a turbulent childhood marked by health issues and bullying.

Her move to Los Angeles was both an artistic leap and an emotional one, following personal tragedies—including the loss of her mother to cancer and a close friend to gun violence. These experiences have shaped her music into what she calls “Empowerment Pop”, a genre built on shimmering melodies, vulnerability, and strength.

Her artistry extends beyond music. Dina Renée is also the mastermind behind Hollywood Pastel Palace, a vibrant Barbie-pink photoshoot and creative studio that has quickly become a go-to set for fashion campaigns and viral content. With its floral walls, vintage phones, and pastel furniture, the space mirrors her musical aesthetic: hyper-feminine, expressive, and emotionally charged.

She’s also the mind behind “Dream It Karaoke“, a performance platform that encourages others to reclaim their voice, and “Runway Revolve“, a sustainable fashion rental service—further proof that Renée isn’t just writing songs, she’s building an entire creative ecosystem.

Despite juggling multiple ventures, Renée’s heart remains firmly rooted in music. “Glow Up” is a testament to that dedication, and part of a larger body of work she plans to release this year. Her previous single, “What I’m Not Gonna Do,” became a streaming favorite, and with “Glow Up,” she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Beyond the glitz, Renée’s music resonates because it’s grounded in lived experience. She doesn’t shy away from heartbreak, but she doesn’t let it define her either. Whether she’s behind a microphone or designing a creative studio, her message remains clear: healing isn’t just possible—it can be beautiful.

With more music on the way and her creative empire expanding by the day, Dina Renée is shaping a pop narrative that is both personal and powerful. “Glow Up” might be the anthem of the summer, but for Renée, it’s just another step in a journey that’s as radiant as it is resilient.

Stream “Glow Up” now on all major platforms, and follow @dinarenee for updates, sparkle, and sonic empowerment.
