    Amazon Prime Day kicks off with Rita Ora and Ray Blk

    Village Underground, Shoreditch, London: Chart-topping popstar Rita Ora and R&B soul singer Ray BLK helped kick off Prime Day celebrations in the UK at the Prime Day Party presented by Amazon Music. The intimate gig took place for 500 of their biggest fans ahead of Amazon’s longest ever Prime Day sale on 15th and 16th July.

    Last week Amazon held an exclusive party in London in celebration of their longest ever Amazon Prime Day event taking place this week.

    With performances from BBC Sound of 2017 winner Ray Blk and international pop princess Rita Ora the intimate show for Prime Members was certainly a night to remember.

    Taking to the stage dressed in glitter platform boots, an electric blue shaggy coat, and flares, Rita Ora kick started celebrations in the UK at renowned music venue, Village Underground, ahead of Amazon’s biggest ever Prime Day sale which runs across 15th and 16th July.

    Rita Ora performed hit tracks from her notable album Phoenix, including ‘Anywhere’ and her new song ‘Ritual’, featuring Jonas Blue and Tiesto. The global sensation was joined by supporting act Ray BLK who wowed the crowd with a powerful performance of her hits “Run Run” and “My Hood”.

    The Prime Day party, which drew to a close with a special DJ set from Laura Whitmore, saw VIP guest such as Dani Dyer, Talia Storm and Candice Brown along with hundreds of Prime members discover the best of Prime, and enjoyed complimentary refreshments and beauty makeovers, courtesy of Coca-Cola and Rimmel.

    Prime Day commenced this morning and will run for 48 hours offering members two full days of the best in shopping and entertainment with great savings to be had. Prime members will enjoy more than one million deals around the world this Prime Day, with limited-time offers, never-before-seen entertainment and exclusive launches.

    Prime members who haven’t yet tried Amazon Music Unlimited can also get four months of premium streaming for just £0.99 and enjoy unlimited access to more than 50 million songs, ad-free.
