Renowned singer, song-writer and performer Andy Brown has announced a headline show later this year, on Friday 14 December, in Newcastle’s Think Tank venue.
Andy Brown is best known for being the front-man of UK boy band Lawson, comprising of remaining members Ryan Fletcher (bass guitar and backing vocals), Adam Pitts (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Joel Peat (drums).
During their time together, the four-piece achieved immense success, with some of their many achievements including seven of their singles making it into the Official Top 20, supporting artists such as Robbie Williams and the release of several studio albums.
Some of Lawson’s array of popular hits include ‘When She Was Mine,’ ‘Standing In The Dark,’ ‘Juliet,’ ‘Where My Love Goes’ – amid many more.
In early 2017, it was announced that Andy would be releasing a debut solo album. At the time, the band explained that they weren’t splitting, explaining that during their time apart, each individual member would inevitably be focusing on solo ventures.
Most recently, in October 2018, Lawson performed together at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, performing their ‘Chapman Square’ album in full, celebrating six years of the album’s release.
Along with the release of several fantastic singles, which include ‘Landslide,’ ‘Lay With Me’ and ‘About Last Night,’ Andy Brown has released album ‘The Greatest Showman,’ a collection of nine tracks from the hit movie.
Amid focusing on a solo music career, Andy is also focusing on other aspects of his career, including TV, theatre, modelling and influencer campaigns.
His upcoming live performance in Newcastle will give him the opportunity to perform his original material, no doubt both released and unreleased music.
