The track has an addictive backing beat but it’s Apryll Aileen who fully shines with her awesome vocal cords that cut deep into all of our souls. As she delves into the lyrics of “Wicked Ways”, we can feel her emotion and how much she wants forgiveness for the stuff she didn’t mean. On top of that, the track has a positive vibe running throughout which contrasts with the theme of the song, and yet it works as it opens up about how forgiveness is almost always a good thing.
