Ariana Grande has been named the first solo artist to have the top three songs in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with ‘7 Rings‘ at No. 1, followed by ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored‘ at No. 2 and ‘Thank U, Next‘ at No. 3.
The last artist to hold the top three spots back-to-back has been the Beatles in 1964 with ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘Do You Want to Know a Secret?’. Ariana Grande has not only tied with The Beatles, but she is also the first solo artist to achieve this feat
The singer was shocked and humbled by the news and even showed her gratitude to her fans by posting on Instagram. In a recent post, she said, “I laughed when I saw this bc I thought y’all edited it. Thank u from the bottom of my heart for so many reasons…”

Her latest album, ‘Thank U, Next‘, was written alongside collaborators Max Martin, Victoria Monét and Kotecha. Nine out of twelve songs have two or more female writers — a first for Grande on a project.
