Ariana Grande has surprised us all by premiering the new music video for her ‘Thank you, next‘ album track “In My Head” out of the blue, and let’s be honest, we’re not okay! We at least deserved a warning before being treated to such gorgeous visuals. But hey, we’re not complaining!
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter is keeping things intimate with her new video, “In My Head”, which was produced and directed by Vogue and was uploaded alongside August’s cover story on July 9. The video was released on Vogue’s YouTube channel.

In the video for “In My Head”, Ariana is showing off her signature style- long high ponytail and thigh-high long boots while dancing around in an empty white room that represents her own mind. This latest video gives little claustrophobic feels and there is no other fancy elaborated scene or background dancers as seen in her previous other music videos.
Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the singer is dressed in a puffy black number, rocking her signature shoulder pops and infamous ponytail flips, dancing around in her own little, brightly-lit shiny white diva box. With minor changes made to the song and her iconic over-the-knee long boots making an appearance and dancing around all by themselves, this all has been prominently featured throughout the video, and she is literally taking us inside her mind and exposing her thoughts. The stunning close-up shots of the singer somewhat reminds us of video shots captured in her previous music video for the song “7 Rings”.
