What else should I know about Nevena Bozovic?
She was born in Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia, and studied music at the University of Arts in Belgrade specialising in solfeggio, this year. She launched on to the music scene in 2007 when she represented Serbia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “Pisi mi” where she came third; this is Serbia’s best result in the contest, joint with 2010’s Sonja Skoric with “Carobna noc”.
Nevena Bozovic has won a tonne of music awards during her career, and became a household name in Serbia when she competed in the second series of Prvi glas Srbije (Serbia’s version of The Voice) where she was the runner-up. From there, she teamed up with two other finalists from the show, Mirna Radulovic and Sara Jovanovic, to form the girl group Moje 3, who you may remember represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song “Ljubav je svuda”. They didn’t do so well, failing to reach the Grand Final, scoring 46 points in their Semi-Final, placing them 11th, just outside the top 10 qualifiers, just six points off.
Her music career has been taking leaps as she’s been dropping new singles over the years. Her latest track “Kruna” is set to become her biggest single to date, as it was chosen to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 through the national selection show Beovizija 2019; can she do better this time around?
