Who is Sennek?

Laura Groeseneken, or better known simply as Sennek, is a Belgian singer-songwriter who will represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with her entry, ‘A Matter Of Time‘. Groeseneken has low-key been working in the music industry since 2014, writing music for Alex Callier and a Belgian band known as Hooverphonic.

Groeseneken has a day job, working for IKEA as a Visual Merchandiser as well as working as a Vocal Coach in her hometown of Leuven, Belgium. Groeseneken has also been connected to the Belgian musician Ozark Henry, when she performed for his band as a Keyboardist at Rock Werchter. Rock Werchter is an annual rock music festival, held near the Belgian village of Werchter which is close to Sennek’s hometown.

Sennek was born on 30th April 1990.

What is her most popular song?

There is no doubt her 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entry, ‘A Matter Of Time‘ is her most popular song due to the entry being her only solo musical release to date. It will also receive further European exposure as she will perform it in Lisbon for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
