Ava Max is a superhero….no really we aren’t making it up and being a super fan. She actually is a super hero in her new video for her latest single Torn.
The epic video, which see’s Ava become a superhero, was directed by Taylor Swift and Britney Spears collaborator Joseph Kahn and was shot earlier this summer across four days in Milan, Italy. It features stunning landmarks throughout the city including the Duomo di Milano.
Torn centers around exploring the themes of love and hate, the two strongest emotions we feel when in a relationship and we struggle with them.
The release of “Torn” follows Ava’s summer streak of bops including “Freaking Me Out,” “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and her feature on AJ Mitchell’s new single “Slow Dance.”
The official video for her newest single arrives after a week of high-profile performances and appearances. Yesterday, Ava attended her first-ever MTV Video Music Awards where she perform an electric medley of “Torn” and “Sweet but Psycho” LIVE the Red Carpet Pre-Show.
