If you’re a big fan of Avicii then you might want to start setting some money aside for the release of his upcoming album, which he recently took to Instagram to tease. It promises to be one of his best pieces of work yet, with the Swedish musician and record producer claiming that it will be his, “best damn album,” ever so you definitely don’t want to miss it.

The Grammy-nominated musician whose real name is Tim Bergling, has only gone from strength to strength since he first became a front-runner in the Electronic Dance Music scene back in 2011 with the release of his first single, “Levels,” which propelled his career into overdrive. Since then he has been ranked third on a list of the best DJ’s in the world for two consecutive years (2012-13) and he is now one of the biggest names in popular music.

Although he released a highly successful second album called, “Stories,” in 2015, Avicii announced his retirement from touring back in March 2016 which you can read here and things have been fairly quiet ever since so we were super excited when we read his two most recent Instagram posts:

With worldwide hits such as, “Wake Me Up,” “I Could Be The One,” “The Days,” and, “Hey Brother,” behind him, we can’t wait to find out what he is planning on releasing next and we have absolutely no doubt that his next album is going to be his best one yet. We just want to be able to listen to it already!

It seems like 2017 is the year of change for Avicii as not only will he be dropping a new album, but he recently signed a contract with Universal Music Sweden after parting ways with his former long-time manager and friend, Ash Pournouri. Change can sometimes be unpredictable and scary, but we have a good feeling about this one so here’s to Avicii’s new era and all of the big hits that it is surely going to bring.
