Delivering thrilling visuals for their much-loved collaboration, Avril Lavigne and blackbear have unveiled the official ‘Love It When You Hate Me’ video. Partying in prison has never looked so fun!
The clip, which was directed by Audrey Ellis Fox, sees Avril indicted for falling in love too many times. Before being released on account of bad behaviour, the Canadian superstar rocks out at the jail alongside Travis Barker on drums and blackbear who raps while dressed as a police officer. The talented trio are certainly guilty of creating a spectacular video.
Sharing a selection of behind the scenes photos online last week, Avril Lavigne said: “Thank you @travisbarker and @iamblackbear for being a part of this one. I’ve had so much fun performing this song live with you guys, and I’m so grateful to be working with such talented artists.“
As well as filming the official music video, Avril and blackbear recently performed ‘Love It When You Hate Me’ on: Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America and The Kelly Clarkson Show. They were joined by Travis Barker for all three promotional performances.
‘Love It When You Hate Me’ is the second single to be lifted from Avril Lavigne’s brilliant new album ‘Love Sux‘. The guitar-driven record, which entered the UK album charts at number three, also features ‘Bite Me‘ and collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly and Mark Hoppus. It’s a masterpiece from start to finish so we’d definitely recommend all twelve tracks.
Fans of Avril will be happy to hear that she has lots of live shows scheduled in her calendar. Full details about the ‘Girlfriend’ hitmaker’s tour dates and upcoming festival slots can be found here.
