Hailed as the new Gossip, Bang Bang Romeo already has huge shoes to fill. With their latest release, titled “Love Yourself”, they prove once and for all that they are more than able to do so.
Bang Bang Romeo’s new song is an empowering anthem like no other, filled with the lead singer’s strong vocals over a pop-rocky melody, and a clear message to us about the power of self-love.
The track deals with the way we can usually show others an enormous amount of love but can rarely show it in the same way to ourselves. Talking about the track, front woman Anastasia explains that “we all know someone who forgets to love themselves – this track is the reminder.”
Regarding the collaboration, Example explained that “‘Love Yourself’ is one of my favourite songs of my career to date”. The artists met at an event in London and immediately decided that they had to create a song together. “The message is so strong. Every one of us in the studio knew someone who had so much love to give to others but had forgotten to love the most important person – themselves”.

The trio have also shot a video with Example for the song. Due to their busy schedules, Example filmed his parts in Australia while Bang Bang Romeo shot theirs theirs backstage in stadiums across Europe.

“Love Yourself” was released on Friday via Five Seven Music. It was written by the singers themselves and produced by Zenn Habits. It is another teaser of their upcoming album, “A Heartbreaker’s Guide To The Galaxy”, due for release on November 1st.
