    BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards Line-Up Unveiled

    The BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards is an annual celebration of music from around the UK and further afield. The BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards will be held at London’s SSE Arena (Wembley) on 21 October and Radio 1 hosts Greg James, Mollie King and Maya Jama will be hosting the ceremony. With one of the biggest and best line-ups yet, we can’t wait to see all the performances and who wins each category!

    Taking to their official Twitter account, the radio station shared details of the performers – ranging from 5 Seconds to Summer to Jonas Blue to Little Mix, and more:

    Little Mix

    Little Mix – comprising of members Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne – will be making their triumphant return to the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, after their last performance in 2016.     5 Seconds of Summer 

    Australian four-piece 5 Seconds of Summer – made up of members Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton – will also be making their return to the Awards, following their performance three years ago, in 2015. Their performance comes shortly after the release of their new album and their upcoming tour dates in the UK. You can check out their performance of ‘Hey Everybody!’ below:

    HRVY

    HRVY will be making his debut at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. After an incredibly successful year thus far, supporting The Vamps and bringing out several singles, he continues to go from strength to strength. He took to his official Instagram to share his excitement at performing at the event. We’re looking forward to seeing his performance!

    Jack & Jack

    Jack & Jack’s performance this year will be their first performance at the momentous event. The American-based duo are now respected musicians, initially finding success through social media. They most recently featured on the Jonas Blue track ‘Rise.’ With Jonas Blue also on the line-up, could a potential collaboration performance be happening at the event?

    Jonas Blue 

    This will be Jonas Blue’s first performance at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. Jonas Blue is an incredibly talented UK-based DJ and has regularly featured in the Official Charts over the years. His most recent release was that of single ‘Rise,’ which featured Jack & Jack. You can check out one of his tracks below:

    Mabel

    Singer and song-writer Mabel released her second single ‘Finders Keepers’ in 2017, gaining her a fantastic position in the UK Official Charts. She went on to support Harry Styles on the European segment of his tour. This will be her first performance at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. You can check out a recent performance she did with Jax Jones in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge below:

    Rapper and singer Not3s has released a string of singles, which have earned him a position in the UK Official Charts. He has also featured on several tracks, including Mabel’s hit ‘Fine Line,’ which could mean another potential collaboration at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards? We can’t wait to see his performance!

    Sigrid

    Singer and song-writer Sigrid make her breakthrough in the music industry and has gone from strength to strength ever since, achieving significant success with her track ‘Strangers,’ which was released in 2017. This will be her first performance at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. You can check out the music video for her single ‘Strangers’ below:
