British dance superstar Becky Hill makes her presence felt in a MAJOR way today (May 31st) with the unveiling of her eagerly anticipated second studio, ‘Believe Me Now?’
Serving as the follow up to 2021’s ‘Only Honest on the Weekend’, the musically diverse sounding record delivers as the embodiment of Becky as a person: an authentic and rich LP, filled with candid emotions and stories born from personal – and often immensely challenging – experiences.
Reflective of her key musical influences, as well as her lifelong dedication to dance music culture, the project sees two time BRIT Award winner touch on topics including love, loneliness, life-affirming bonds, and betrayal across 15-tracks, produced by an array of top tier collaborators.
As well as featuring the hit singles, ‘Side Effects’, ‘Disconnect’, ’Never Be Alone’, ‘Outside of Love’, ’Right Here’ and ‘True Colours’, as well as recent release ‘Multiply’, the album also sees Hill team up with artists including Self-Esteem, Sonny Fodera, Lewis Thompson, Rileasa, Chase & Status, MNEK, and Toddla T.
Of the record, Becky says via a press release: “When I thought about what had come before now, I realised I was missing a couple of things: specifically, the element of euphoria but also, I wanted to create a much more mature, sophisticated level of dance music in this album. It was an incredibly direct and quick album to write because for the first time I knew exactly what I wanted to say. I’m really proud of this album and of what it says and what it stands for.”
2024 is shaping up to be Becky’s biggest ever year on the road.
Having already played Australia, New Zealand, her first European headline tour and Radio 1’s Big Weekend, highlights of the remainder of the year include an almost sold-out October UK arena tour as well as her biggest North American shows so far in November.
