Showing the world how a collaboration should be done, Ben Haenow has teamed up with Rex Pearson and tons of musicians to release a cover of ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’ by Radiohead. Their spectacular rendition won’t fade out of memory anytime soon!
The talented ensemble, which is made up of more than ten musicians, is led by: gifted vocalists Ben Haenow and Shanice Dilara, world-renowned violinist Esther Abrami and highly accomplished guitarist Rex Pearson. It’s fair to say that they did the song justice.
Sharing the cover online, Rex said: “Everything you see and hear in this video was captured live in Hurtwood House School. This was the very first song I learned on guitar when I picked up a broken acoustic with only 4 strings that I found in my brother’s cupboard. It didn’t sound that great then, but I have always wanted to do an epic version of this incredible Radiohead song. I even brought a few friends. Here is our cover feat the incredible Ben Haenow, Esther Abrami & Shanice Dilara.“
This isn’t the first time that Ben Haenow has collaborated with Rex Pearson. Last year, the pair got together with Cassa Jackson to put their own spin on ‘Wolves‘ by Selena Gomez and Marshmello. We’d definitely recommend checking out all of the great covers on Rex’s YouTube channel here.
It’s not long now until Ben Haenow hits the road for his acoustic tour. The platinum-selling artist will be playing six stripped back shows across the UK next month so make sure you grab tickets from his official website here before it’s too late. Everyone in attendance is certainly in for a treat.
