After being behind the scenes for 10+ years, Benny Blanco finally released his first song (“Eastside”) and video! Yes, the talented Benny is featured in this video featuring Khalid and Halsey, which was also co-written by Ed Sheeran! Do the exclamations points show our excitement enough?
According to Benny on Instagram, “This started out as something fun just to release songs w my friends that i love but then it became really personal and it feels like i just gave birth to my first song baby! her name is eastside.”
Halsey shared on Twitter saying” WELL HERE’S EASTSIDE! This video holds so many personal pieces of me :)”
If you didn’t know already, Benny is known for working with artists like Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Kesha, Sia, The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West and many more.
So after teasing this new song on social media on Tuesday, it’s finally here!
