Marc O’Neill is back at the top of the Big Brother betting as the favourite to win. The Dubliner suffered a minor blip in his quest for the title when he drifted out to 5/2 second favourite, but punters are back behind him and have made him the current frontrunner at 9/4.
Danny took over from Marc as the 2/1 favourite to win, however after a formal warning from Big Brother for aggressive behaviour, his good guy reputation has been somewhat tarnished and he has been pushed out to 5/2. Chloe is next in the betting at 4/1, with Joel remaining a contender for the title at 9/2.
As the show nears its final week, Nick has drifted to 10/1 to take home the title. Cristian may have come out of his shell for a couple of days but has since faded back into the background and doesn’t look like much of a threat at 16/1. Outsiders are Harry and Jack at 40/1 apiece with Sam bottom of the betting at 80/1.
Aoife Heffron, PR Executive at BoyleSports, commented “Marc has returned as the top dog in the betting with punters rallying behind him overnight after seeing his softer side. Should the Dubliner win, he will be the second ever Irish person to have triumphed on the show, with Brian Dowling winning the 2001 series and the Ultimate Big Brother series.”
She added “Danny’s behaviour over the past few days has gone against the squeaky clean mediator image he has been portraying. After almost getting physical with Marc, it seems some of his support has drifted away and he has been pushed out to 5/2. However, it is still a two horse race between Danny and Marc at present.”
