Opening with explosive trumpets and the iconic ‘BLACPINK in your area’,
the music video is a cinematic masterpiece allowing each girl to have their time to shine. Each scene looks straight from a Hollywood movie and gears up to the explosive dance break with each of the girls’ looks serving us Tomb Raider realness.
The heavily hip-hop inspired song speaks on killing a bad love that is only dragging you down and with a chanting hook of ‘Let’s kill love, yeah it’s sad but true. Let’s kill this love before it kills you too’, it’s the breakup anthem that we all need.
Kill This Love is the girls’ first comeback since their record breaking summer hit DDU-DU DDU-DU from last year and we are sure this will be just as record breaking.
Kill This Love is taken from their latest EP of the same name and will be released at midnight on April 5th in your local timezone. You can catch BLACKPINK in your area on their world tour which will take them across the US, Europe and Australia.
